Reflections are strangers with familiar smiles and predictable rhythm. They don't intend. They don't empathize. They want for nothing. But increasingly they're all I see, and clarity's closing in.
Distortions in the light catch my eye, and I'm finding fractures in the surface as I try to see through it. And through it, I'm beginning to wonder if my vantage point is from the inside out. I've lost track of which side is home, and instinct doesn't trust me, let alone serve me. At this point, there's nothing left to do but reflect.
